Thanks for the Horses

I was in my prayer time just thanking God for the economy. Yes I was thanking God for the economy because it has made me take a harsh look at what I was doing with my life and the direction I was focused.

I looked around the tree and it was beautiful, there seemed still to be several gifts under the tree but I knew they were not the expensive gifts that were there a year or two ago, but gifts that were actually needed.

I thought how much more time I had been spending in prayer to get to know my God and to ask for help and support for his child. I confessed my need and repented of my lack of time that I had not been spending with Him.

I also thanked Him for all the things He had given me and allowed me to keep on loan. I know it is all His, the bible says in the book of

John 1:2-5 3

All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Yes, I am a believer in the Bible 100% I know alot of people dont but that is why God is so cool. Even though I believe He created us and for His purpose so that we could experience life and to have fellowship with Him.

I sometimes sit back and think, God how come you cant just give world peace, help the children that are hungry and sick, how come you let this or that happen? And if I take more than a moment in prayer and wait I usually will get a response. The most touching time was when I heard.

If I gave you all that you asked and made everything like it will be here in my glory than you would fall from Me and we would not be talking right now. I long for these times to listen and show you what you believe. You will be with Me one day and that day you will have all you have ever desired. But for now this is the best thing for you to seek me, when you do this you grow and you show Me that you love me for whom I am and not for what I do. Anyone can buy a friend but true friends are always there.

I just felt let to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and hope the legalist dont rip that from our lips. I guess I will have to obey the law if it ever happens but until that day I can say it.


Oh and the title of the blog it all started because I was also thanking God for the creation of animals and our horses and animals that we have but it feed into a whole other road.
